The Department of Chemistry offers programs in spacious modern laboratories and classrooms. In addition, students have access to an impressive variety of modern chemical instrumentation including gas and high performance liquid chromatographs with computer data acquisition and analysis, scanning ultraviolet/visible, atomic absorption and Fourier Transform infrared spectrophotometers, and a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer.
