Through a Microsoft Campus-wide licensing agreement, the OIT can make many of Microsoft's latest products available to faculty, staff, and students at a substantial discount.

COMPUTERS @ RIVIER
By partnering with Dell Computer Corporation and Microsoft, Rivier College is able to provide up-to-date technology in the Academic Computer Center, Electronic Classrooms, dormitories, and offices across campus. Additionally, a quad T-1 connection to the internet offers high speed web access.

USER ACCESS
In order to access the College's technology resources, faculty, staff, and students are required to obtain a user account by filling out a Computer Use Policy Form. A user account consists of a unique username and password.

Current network status and important information regarding the Rivier College Network is available on the Announcements section of the IT Services Self-Service system.  This system is only available to Students, Faculty, and Staff who have a network username and password.

THE TRAINING CENTER
The Training Center provides a core collection of tutorials for the Microsoft Family of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access. A few tutorials have been added for Windows and Internet Explorer. These tutorials may be printed for personal use or copied for classroom use.
