Karen Cooper
Background
Vice President for University Advancement Karen Cooper oversees development, alumni relations, marketing and advertising, publications, internal and external communications, and the University website. As a member of the University’s senior leadership team, she works with the administration, faculty, and staff to develop integrated marketing and fundraising strategies. Karen has served as a Board Director and as Chair of the Board for the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. She received the first-ever ‘Young Professional of the Year’ award from the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce in 2014 and was recognized as being the youngest individual to serve as Board Chairman in the organization’s history. She was also named to the list of the ‘Next 20’ Leaders to impact Nashua’s future by The Telegraph. She is a past board member for the Nashua Education Foundation, the Gateway Chapter of the American Red Cross, and the Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro, Mass.
Karen is a graduate of Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts, with a degree in English and Psychology. She earned her MBA with a marketing concentration from Rivier in 2003.
