RISE HOLIDAY CELEBRATION
Friday, December 6 from 12 – 2 p.m. Memorial Hall Event Room – Second Floor
Join your RISE friends and meet new friends at this brown bag lunch event to celebrate the winter holidays. If you want, bring up to 5 books for the book swap table to find some new winter reading. RISE will provide delicious desserts. This event is open to everyone. You do not need to be a RISE member to attend. Please sign up by Monday, December 2 to attend this celebration.
SMALL BUSINESS FIELD TRIP
Tuesday, December 10 at 11:30 a.m.Â
The Curriculum Committee is developing a Spring course that features behind-the-scenes visits to Nashua area small businesses. A test run of this course will take place on Tuesday, December 10 when we visit Giovanni’s Roast Beef & Pizzeria, 14 Broad Street, Nashua. Join us at 11:30 a.m. for lunch (at your own expense) followed by a discussion with the owner and a tour of the facility. Limited to 25 due to space constraints.
You must be a RISE member to attend. Please sign up by Thursday, December 5. If your household contained more than one RISE member please sign up separately.
RISE SPRING 2025 DROP-IN INFORMATION SESSION
Friday, January 10 from 1 – 3Â p.m.; snow date is January 17 Dion Center Reception Room
RISE presents information sessions before the start of each semester. These sessions provide an opportunity to meet RISE leadership and facilitators, learn about the program, and courses and find out if our program is right for you. All members, prospective members and facilitators are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!

We email a bi-weekly RISE Notes newsletter to all members. The Notes contain information about RISE Programs, course registration, upcoming Rivier University and local library events, and ways to get involved locally and stay active.
