Hank Parkinson
Dr. Hank Parkinson possesses more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration, student development, and building inclusive environments. He provides leadership in the areas of student engagement, multicultural programming, residence life, student health and wellness, campus ministry, and public safety. As a member of the senior administration team, he will contribute innovative leadership to support the highest levels of student engagement, retention, and graduation.
Prior to joining the University, Dr. Parkinson served as Dean of Students at Fitchburg State University, as well as holding other key leadership roles at Fitchburg State and Bryant University. In addition, Dr. Parkinson was a co-owner and leadership consultant at LTE Consulting, a leadership education and technology consulting firm.
He has authored several professional articles, spoken at conferences throughout New England, and served on numerous advisory boards. Currently, he serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Montachusett Opportunity Council and is Vice Chair of the Ashburnham Parks and Recreation Committee.
Dr. Parkinson holds a Doctorate in Education from Nova Southeast University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University, and he completed his undergraduate work in management from Quinnipiac University. His dissertation focused on the “Evaluation of an Undergraduate Leadership Development Program.”
