Background

Bob Coutoumas’ extensive business experience, which spans over 30 years as a manager, senior executive, and consultant, enables him to teach across the Rivier University Business and Security Studies Division in the undergraduate, Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and MBA programs.

He has held individual contributor, management, and executive positions at Sanders Associates, PVA-EPVA Inc., NorthStar Steel and Aluminum, State Street Corporation, Merrill Lynch-Bank of America, Robert Half International, and recently as Director of Risk Management-Business Resilience-Customer and Supplier Management at Informatica LLC, in Redwood City, California. As a senior consultant, he has supported Fortune 500 firms, VC-backed startups, and small businesses.

Born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire, he has traveled extensively in North America and Europe with worldwide team and technical program responsibilities. He teaches, educates, and advises business students on the complex position requirements and challenges in the business world along with supporting Rivier University at the local community level.

Bob has coached youth lacrosse at the NH U-13, U15 level, and at the college level NCAA D2 and the WCLA D1 at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire, (Men’s Assistant Coach) and Northeastern University, in Boston, Massachusetts, (Women’s Head Coach), respectively.
