Rivier’s Early Acceptance Program provides on-the-spot acceptance and financial incentives
Students who visit and apply early this fall will receive up to $2,500 in financial incentives with the University’s Early Acceptance Program.
Rivier’s Early Acceptance Program (REAP) offers qualified students who apply and visit campus the opportunity to receive an on-the-spot acceptance and several financial incentives, in addition to a competitive financial aid package. Students will receive up to $2,500 in grant awards and one free course when they follow a streamlined application process and apply by November 25.
“We’ve found that the best predictor of collegiate success for incoming students is past academic performance and a demonstrated commitment to excel,” says Sister Paula Marie Buley, IHM, Rivier’s President. “Rivier’s Early Acceptance Program provides significant benefits to those students who are motivated to apply and achieve.”
All students who apply to Rivier University by November 15 will receive a $1,000 first-year grant and an additional $500 grant when they complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the same date. Those who also complete an interview, tour, and receive same-day acceptance, will receive another $500 REAP grant, a $500 deposit match option, and a free summer 2021 course when they deposit. Early acceptance incentives will be included in comprehensive financial aid packages.
The Early Acceptance program’s streamlined application process requires only an online application or the Common App, high school transcripts, and a campus interview and tour. Students are not required to submit an essay, recommendations, or SAT/ACT scores.
“Streamlining the application process is a win for students, their families, and Rivier,” says Paul Brower, Rivier’s Vice President for Enrollment Management. “Same-day acceptances and REAP financial awards remove a good deal of the waiting and the worrying that so often accompany college admissions and add stress to high school seniors’ final year.”
Rivier offers more than 40 undergraduate programs in nursing, public health, health science, business, biology, biotechnology, cybersecurity management, sport management, education, and a variety of other in-demand fields.
