Community Standards

Our community standards uphold campus values, facilitate conflict resolution, develop and implement policies, provide support and guidance, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain an accountable campus environment.

The Campus Advocacy, Resources, and Education for Safety Team addresses and educates the campus community about sensitive issues such as sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.

Rivier University is committed to providing a non-discriminatory and harassment-free educational, living and working environment for all members of the Rivier community, including students, faculty, administrators, staff, contractors, and visitors.

The Silent Witness program is for reporting crimes/incidents and/or serious policy violations which may affect the health, safety or welfare of the Rivier University community.

To maintain a positive learning environment and address any disruptive behavior, the University has established a Behavioral Assessment Team comprised of dedicated staff, manages concerning or disruptive behaviors and threats.

Members of the Bias Incident Response Team respond to incidents of bias by supporting students, connecting them with resources, educating the campus community, and interfacing with the Diversity Council for information sharing and policy review.
