Commuting

If you choose to commute, you will find a welcoming and vibrant community and countless opportunities for engagement.

As a student living off-campus, you have access to all of the same activities, clubs and organizations, athletics, and academic resources as residents. Spend some time and you will quickly become a part of the community as a whole and feel right at home here.

Find Your Place on Campus

Transportation

Our convenient location off Route 3 makes getting to our campus easy and our commuter parking lots are conveniently located throughout campus.

No car? No problem! As a Rivier student, you can use Nashua Transit buses for free. Simply present your Rivier ID card to the transit driver when you board the bus. The pass is valid to use at all times the bus is running and is available to take you to any of the stops in Nashua. There’s a stop conveniently located in front of the Regina Library.

Getting Involved

Participation in student clubs and organizations is a great complement to your academic experience and will help you become more connected with campus. Join a student organization and take advantage of the endless opportunities we have available to you. Check out our directory of active clubs or contact us to start your own!

Dining

All commuters, full- and part-time, are eligible for discounted, cash-free purchases at the Dion Dining Center and Cyber Cafe located in Regina Library. To make arrangements, visit the Office of Student Accounts in Adrienne Hall and make a deposit on your Rivier ID card. Present your ID on campus to receive a 15% discount on all food and drink purchases. We also offer a Commuter Meal Plan and many other dining options.
